Arundel Volleyball wins Senior Night and looks to keep winning streak alive

Arundel Volleyball honored the seniors in their last regular season home game last Friday, October 20, 2017 against Notre Dame prep.  The Senior class of 2018 consists of #2 Kate Hofer, #3 Nia Smith, #6 Chyna Gubbings, #8 Sydney Sheppard, #13 Taylor Wigglesworth, and #14 Alicia Eldredge.  Arundel played only seniors in their 25-10 first set victory over Notre Dame prep.  In the next two sets, Arundel went on to win 25-12 and 25-16 to complete the sweep.

Arundel Volleyball keeps undefeated season alive with win over Broadneck and look forward to playoffs

After coming off of a close 5 set victory against South River, Arundel looked to beat Broadneck in a swift fashion.  The Wildcats did just that in their sweep against the Bruins last Tuesday and advance to a record of 11-0.  Arundel started off strong with an early 25-13 victory in the first set, and ended up winning the second set 25-22, and the third 25-15.

Yankees take advantage early and beat Twins in AL Wildcard

            The New York Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins 8-4 in the American League wild card game Tuesday and look to take on the Indians in the 7 game divisional series starting Thursday.

Forgotten Arundel sport gears up for season

The majority of Arundel high’s student body is unaware that Arundel has a very talented Ice Hockey team. Because of this, most of the games have little to no student section. The home ice for the Wildcats is at the Piney Orchard Ice rink. The team competes in the MSHL (Maryland Student Hockey League).
