By Caleb Williams

On Friday October 11th, Arundel High will host the High School Nation Tour sponsored by Hollister. The High School Nation Tour is a traveling Music & Arts festival that visits public high schools across the country introducing students to opportunities in all fields of the arts.

That day, Arundel High School students will be on a 2-hour early dismissal schedule and at the end of 4th period will meet in the F parking lot. The event will be host to many different musical and creative arts stations that will both inform students about their creative arts and give students a hands-on experience. There will also be live music and constant giveaways.

High School Nation will focus on many different creative arts subjects like: Journalism, film, fine and performing arts, fashion, photography, and stage production. Students will also visit interactive zones that will allow students to have a hands-on experience with the creative art they might be interested in. Some of the zones are: Full Sail University Media Zone, Guitar Center, Music Zone, Crayola Art with Edge Zone, The Style Zone, and the Truth Track. Students will also be able to take guitar lessons, use green screen animation, design hats, learn how to DJ, tie-dye t-shirts, take drum lessons, paint on canvas, take dance lessons, and make Festival Bracelets. There will also be a Q&A session for all fine arts on Friday, October 11th during period 3B. Also, any music/art classes are invited to visit F-lot and discuss the setup of the Music Zone and Art Zone.

There will also be live entertainment during the event. The artist lineup includes Almost Monday, Sofi K, Go Go Gadjet, CARYS, and Micah Blu.
