The bell schedule for Thursday, May 31st, will be altered and will not include a  Pride Period. The change was announced during morning announcements Wednesday morning.This decision was made because of the senior graduation practice, according to Assistant Principal Stacey Cooper. “We won’t have enough supervision for the rest of the hallways,” Cooper said. The practice, which begins in the auditorium at 8 am, is also preventing current juniors from parking in the G-hall parking lot or the Arundel Middle parking lot.

Some Arundel students reacted to the change with frustration. “It’s not fair because people have other work to do. It’s not all about seniors,” sophomore Navah Marierose said.

“I don’t see why we can’t have Pride Period. I can’t do work, can’t make up assignments. Inconvenient,” Junior Christoph Baroudi said. In regards to the inability for Juniors to park on campus tomorrow, Baroudi said, “I understand. It is, what it is, I guess.”

The updated bell schedule is listed below:

1st Period: 7:30 – 9:05

2nd Period: 9:11 – 10:41

3rd Period: 10:47 – 12:39

(A lunch: 10:47 – 11:12, B lunch: 11:18 – 11:43, C lunch: 12:14 – 12:39)

4th Period: 12:45 – 2:18
