The 2017 Anne Arundel County Fair was held from September 13 to September 17 in Crownsville at 1450 General’s Highway.

This year’s fair included duck races, pig races, rides, farms, and antique tractors. A new ride was just added called The Avalanche. The Avalanche spins its riders in a clockwise motion fast. Other rides include Candy Swings, a Carousel, a large and kiddie Ferris Wheel, The Zipper, Flying Dragons, Space Copters, Atlantis Tilt A Whirl, and others.

This year’s fair featured music by Brandon Lay, a country music singer. Lay, a Jackson TN native, has toured with country superstars like Dierks Bently, Old Dominion, Eli Young Band, and Jake Owen.

The Anne Arundel County Fair will be back in Crownsville next September.
