The Wizards played Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Hawks at Verizon Center and the home crowd propelled them to 109-101 win over the Hawks.

The Wizards backcourt once again dominated as John Wall had 32 points for the second straight game and also dished out 9 assists. Wall’s supporting cast member in the backcourt also had a terrific game with 31 points and hit a three pointer with a minute left in the game to essentially seal it.

The Wizards who are now up 2-0 in the series, will travel to Atlanta with a chance to pull of the series sweep with wins in Games 3 and 4.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are up 2-0 in their series against the Indiana Pacers after their win at home on Monday night. Lebron James has really turned his game up in the playoffs as he usually does and scored 25 points and added 10 rebounds. The Cavs look to win the series with Games 3 and 4 being in Indiana.

The biggest shocker of the playoffs is the fact that the 8th seeded Chicago Bulls are up 2-0 on the 1st seeded Boston Celtics. The Celtics were faced with tragedy as the night before Game 1 they learned that the younger sister of star Point Guard Isaiah Thomas passed away in a car crash earlier in that day. Despite the loss of his sister Thomas has still played exceptionally well contributing 33 points in Game 1 and contributing 20 points in Game 2. Thomas is the lone bright spot in the series for the Celtics as his teammates have yet to hit their stride and now find themselves down 0-2 in the series. Jimmy Butler has emerged as a star for the Bulls as he has had 30 points in Game 1 and 22 in Game 2.

The Eastern Conference Playoffs are getting very interesting along with the series in the West. Look forward to more amazing action throughout the rest of the NBA Playoffs.
