The Wildcats Varsity softball team is off to great start especially after a 10-3 win vs Chesapeake yesterday

The Wildcats struggled on offense early on in yesterday’s game but after the 2nd inning, the Wildcats were able to cruise to a 10-3 win over Chesapeake improving their record to 4-1 on the season.

The Wildcats have been strong on offense this year scoring at least 6 runs in 4 of their 5 games this season.  They are led by senior Catcher Tiffany Jerman and 2B/SS Steffany Jerman who have been staples on varsity for years.

Sophomore Madison Gentry has also been strong both at the plate and on the mound this season. She pitched a complete game with 7 strikeouts in a road win against North County on Wednesday.

The Wildcats are 4-1 and will look to notch a win against Meade at home at Monday. Game time is set for 4:00 pm.
