“I’ve traveled to England, all of Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Israel, China, Canada, St. Lucia…that’s it I think.

I love the idea that there are so many different cultures in the world, and that you can experience all of them by just going and being open to what you see, and taste, and smell, and hear around you.

Almost not getting out of Israel was a terrifying moment. They thought I was a terrorist because I was only there for, like, three days. That was weird. Favorite moment would be in China getting to hike the Great Wall with Mr. Cizek and Mr. Yuscavage.

We’re a global world. The world is getting smaller and smaller and we can’t ignore that there are other cultures around us that are not going away, that are going to be part of our daily lives.”
